I've been told by my teacher that BTEC applied science (forensic science) course has no exams, but some colleges/sixth forms do have exams. I'm worried the exams may clash with my A2 exams. Have all the BTECs been reformed or is it some? I started this course in September and I'm in the first year of Extended Dipolma course.

I am pretty sure that this syllabus for BTECs does include exam based work.

Some colleges have chosen the option to stick with the old BTEC (no exams) for another 12 months. Some have chosen to go with the new BTEC which did start this September and does include exams. So yes it can vary from college to college this year.
