    Hello all,

I am just posting to find out if anyone that has attended Leeds EEE after applying from a route such as an apprenticeship.

Coming to the close of my 4-year placement on an Oil Refinery I am looking to attend Sep 17. At the time I will hold 2 x HNC (Electrical and Electronics + Instruments and Control Systems). Additionally I will hold 1 x BTEC NVQ LEVEL 3 Extended Diploma, plus BTEC NVQ Level 3. The doubling of both qualifications is a reflection of my dual trade training (Instruments and Electrical).

Any help is greatly appreciated, this is a big step I am excited to make.

I haven't, but I just wanted to say that I'm excited and happy for you. Sending positive vibes!

You might be learning the same things from scratch.

First year starts out really basic

Good luck! Take some time to get used to the examination technique etc... I'm coming from a vocational background too and applying to University! Doing BTEC, predicted D*D*D* and I'm gonna apply to do Computer Science
