will i be able to become a doctor after having a bone marrow transplant?

I am worried I will never be able to become a doctor or study medicine after my bone marrow transplant because I will have a weak immune system after. Do I just give up on my dream?
I think you should keep going!! Eventually your immune system will recover (it will take a few years though) and you will feel better

I am waiting for a transplant myself but it's not too priority at the moment, but I've read about it and what happens after
Is there someone at your hospital (like a teacher/support worker) you can talk to for guidance??
Lol I know this is late but, I definitely think you should stick to the dream! I myself had done a bone marrow transplant at the age of 7 in 2006 and I am currently completing my final IB exams awaiting to join medical school next year and hopefully become a doctor 5 more years down the line!
