# Maths C1 Help with questions

Why bother with a post grad? Are they even worth it? Have your say! 26-10-2016
1. Hi there if anyone could help me with these questions by explaining how to solve them then that would be great; as I cannot find anything online to help me with them, thanks.

1) solve simultaneous equations
y=2-x
x^2+2xy=3

2a) express 2x^2+8x+7 in the form A(x+B)^2+C
2b) state min value of^
2c) state value of x which gives the min value

3a)5(y+5)<7-3(y+2)

3b) x^2+4x-12>0

I have attached a picture with the answers and the working out. I hope this helped.

3. rahavi9 thank you so much, if you don't mind I also have 2 other questions if you could do them as well but you don't have to lol, thank you.

1) find values of x and y that satisfy the simultaneous eqautions
y=2-x^2
x+2y=1

2a)sketch the graph of y=2x(7x-3) // indicate the values of the coordinates of the points where the curve crosses the x-axis
2b) find the exact values of the solutions of the equation 2x(7x-3)=2x+4
c) solve inequalties 2x(7x-3)>0 and 2x(7x-3)<2x+4
