A Level Revision

Hiya,
I've started A-Levels this September.
I'm just wondering when should you actually start revision and how to start revising. Because I don't know if my techniques that I used at GCSE would be any good at A-Level.
The A-Levels that I have chosen are :
Biology
Chemistry
Psychology
English Combined

Please feel free to leave any tips on how you revise.

If your techniques worked at GCSE there's no reason why they shouldn't work now. Everyone studies differently and there's no prescribed way of doing it.
