# Last maths question help please

1. I've asked a maths question before and i have one last one that im stuck on.

I dont think we covered this topic uet so i dont even know where to start.

2. You need the equation for the tangent to answer this question so a good place to start would be finding the gradient of the curve at point A. I'm guessing this is a GCSE paper (?) so try working out the gradient of the line between the origin O and point A and thinking about circle theorems.
3. You can work out the gradient OA and the gradient of the tangent will be the negative reciprocal as it makes a right angle. Form an equation for the tangent in the form y=mx+c and set y= 0 to find the x coordinate at P. then work out the area of the triangle.
