CCEA A-Level/GCE Physics HELP

RIght so last sumemr I recieved a D in my physics which is what i expected because my teacher was extremely crap, my class went from 18 to 7 and i recieved 3 A's in other subjects including Maths so ive decided to pretty much repeat my AS Physics year and take the full course on, on my own in one year....
Haters are my motiv8rz and all that craic aside can anyone link me to some useful resources or text books i could purchase becvause the one that CCEA have made is absolutly crap for AS & A2, im wondering if anyone knows what the spec difference is like from AQA, OCR and EDEXCEL.
Would buying a text book for a different spec help me me because they would be better books?
Anyways any helkp is greatly appreciated, i know there are others in my position and would also appreciate it.
