Currently in the process of making my choices.
Originally planned to study Biochemistry but was looking at the content of Pharmacology and was pleased to see Edinburgh run units related to neuroscience. My interests lie in the overlap between Biochemistry, Pharmacology and Neuroscience so overall the course covers lots of topics that really interest me so was planning on applying.
I try to take the university rankings with a pinch of salt but Edinburgh really doesn't seem to score well for Pharmacology and Pharmacy. On the complete university guide rankings they are 34th with a pretty low graduate prospect (59). To put into perspective I'm also applying to Cardiff University for Medical Pharmacology (also looks really interesting) and that comes in at 4th without having much higher entry standards.
Just wondering if anyone knows how reputable the Edinburugh course is?
University of Edinburgh for Pharmacology?
