Postgraduate Loan Eligibility

Why bother with a post grad? Are they even worth it? Have your say! 26-10-2016

I have recently just finished an integrated masters course, this was a four year undergraduate course in Physics so I graduated with an MPhys. My question is, does this count against my eligibility for applying for Postgraduate loan in order to study a stand alone masters?
My four year course was funded by SFE and counts as undergraduate funding, and I know that you are not eligible if you already hold a masters. But during my final year of my degree I was known as a 4th year undergrad and I know it is possible to hold some qualifications such as a PGCE and still be eligible for the Postgrad loan.

    Hi there.

If you already hold a Masters qualification you will not be able to apply for funding for another, either through undergraduate or postgraduate funding.
