2 weeks off? nope, sorry!

what you do get is a reading week, which is 'intended' for reading, now wether most people do actually read during that week is dubious. I know for a fact that i shall, for sure, be enjoying some PS3 during that week, however, if you really wanted to go away for a week you could (last year i did go home for a few days) its up to you.

Uni isnt like school, if you dont go to lectures its on your own head, no-one will chase after you, but it is YOUR degree, which you are paying for, and besides, this holiday (summer) more than makes up for it, in fact if anything its too long!

But no, no 2 week holiday in October. Ah well!

Some subjects (just physics and maths, I think), have exams in that week :p:

I never had a Reading week at Reading university (heh) but the first 2 weeks of October (freshers week and one after) were essentially a long holiday.
