Mature student dentistry personal statement

Hey, I am applying for dentistry as a mature student. I have completed a business studies degree at a top 10 uni and my main concern is how to explain the complete 180 in my career path, especially as I only graduated a year ago.

I mean the reason is that I always wanted to be, but I didn't have the self belief and kind of saw it as a pipe dream so I gave up and chose business studies. But now I am older and more self assured I know that I can do it and I shouldn't listen to anyone that has ever told me otherwise. But I don't want to put myself down in my PS and say that I didn't think I could do it as I think it looks a little weak. Are there any mature dental students applicants out there that would be able to help at all?!
Just focus on why dentistry now, and don't bother explaining 'why not earlier' or 'why business' or whatever. Make sure that you have recent experience related to dentistry and ways to show your skills and qualities that are appropriate to be a dentist
