First job tax confusion

Hello,

I've recently got my first job which is on a 0 hour contract, and I get paid weekly. I've been taxed 20% on every payslip I've got so far. I don't understand this, everyone has been telling me I shouldn't be paying tax. My tax code is 0T W1. Do I get this money back? The job is only part time by the way.

Give hmrc a call, you've got the wrong tax code. Once they fix it you should get the money back in your next payslip.

This is the case.
Its because they assume you will earn enough to pay tax.
