I passed my test today and looking at getting a small used car. I'm 19 at the moment, and have got a budget of about £2,500 or slightly over, but I'm not too sure on the best kind of car to get. It's mainly just going to be used to commute to work which is probably about 8-10 miles each way, and general social stuff.

There's no cars I'm against, but looking for a smaller car for parking, and one that's pretty cheap to run (or as cheap as they are for young drivers anyway!). Any advice or help would be absolutely amazing, thank you!
