random girls started convo!!!! does this mean anything

so today i was eating in the dinner hall at college. i stood up took of my hoodie (i go gym and do get stares when i ware anything that exposes my arms) and a random girl asked me "where are you from?". i talked to the girls on that table for a bit and then continues eating not thinking much of the situation.
if a girl starts convo does it mean she likes me?

Maybe she thought she was cute and decided to talk to you or maybe she was bored/lonely or looking for friends to talk/meet. She can't like you if she doesn't even know you, calm down :lol:

Ah you're one of those guys that thinks a girl likes him when she breaths in your direction.
