An inspector calls // mr birling

So I need to write a short essay ( only 4 paragraphs) on how mr birling is presented by preistley throughout an inspector calls
I need to add ideas in about context, socialism/ politics e.g: him being a capatilist, I also need to say how he changed through out the play and lastly I need to include why Priestley has chosen him to be this 'type' of character?! and then I need to include all the normal obvious things such as evidence
Has anyone got any ideas?

Start with saying how he represents capitalist ideologies. Then progress onto how throughout the play his power becomes weaker and is almost silenced by the inspector (who presents socialists views), which may show how priestly is trying to present change and how the lower classes need to rise against the capitalists. At the end of the play, when he realises he may not have actually killed her, he goes from being weak and broken to egotistical again, showing how capitalists can never change, meaning that if those in power do not change, society will never move forward.

Also talk about that he's this type of character because priestly is a socialist and so he wants to show powerful capitalists in a bad light and show how selfish natured they are.

Stuff like that

(I did this for GCSE and so I know it all by heart 😭) feel free to ask if you need any help
