    Hey guys,

Not sure if this is the right place to put this but I really need some advice, have tried looking on Google however didn't seem to find much.

Basically, I'm 18 at the moment, will be 19 in August for the start of the next academic year. I have tried going to college the previous two years but due to unforseen home circumstances and personal issues I had to leave both times. I'm now living away from home (it also is not an option to live with my family) and have been working etc instead of being in education.

Honestly, I now feel like it's too late for me to go back to education to go to uni in the near future. I have rent to pay and need to have an income as well as study, due to the nature of my accommodation I am unable to claim benefits. I am perfectly capable of self studying my a levels/an access course if I had the provision to do so, however, I do not have the money to pay for the courses and I will also need to work at least 25 hours a week to cover my bills.

I'm looking at studying Psychology with Criminology at university however at the moment I only have 6 GCSEs and a BTEC level 2 (which I also studied myself due to personal issues.) Can anyone provide me with a potential solution so I can go to uni? Please, I would be so grateful for any help.

Sorry you've not had any responses about this. Are you sure you've posted in the right place? Here's a link to our subject forum which should help get you more responses if you post there.

Just quoting in Danny Dorito so she can move the thread if needed :wizard:
