Unfortunately NOT. The medical school have issued this message to discourage applicants looking for a place through clearing - so they don't ring up tommorow after getting their grades.

If you have an offer you MUST meet the conditions in order to get the place. In fact medical schools usually give out more offers than places as they know that some applicants will turn down their offer in favour of another university and others will not achieve the grades. Some even have a waiting list in case some places are free (VERY unlikely).

So...you are not in the clear just yet. Say your prayers and hope for the very best.

Good Luck!

"All places on the Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery programme for Home/EU students have been filled for 2007 entry....."

So could this mean that all people who held offers have made the place?

Or perhaps that they've been able to fill the places with people who do meet the requirements from their waiting list..if they have one?
Not to turn you into a bag of nerves or anything :ninja:

Good luck for the results!

Unfortunately not. Nearly every medical school (if not all) over offer by up to 300% to cover people who will not chose them as U, CF or CI, or will miss their grades, so that they will not have to resort to clearing...
