I'm in year 10 right now and I think we have an externally marked science practise paper. Was your maths one the same difficulty as the actual GCSE maths (9-1) paper?
Whats grade 9? A*? If i want to resit maths but the new grading is used, can i just convert it to grades and numbers because i did my gcses in 2014 where maths was in grade form not numbers

A high A*.
No. You should resit the previous spec in either the November window (probably too late now), or the June window (unsure if there's a January window).
Loool yes we both will! Im not resitting any gcses this year but i might resit maths because if i get an A in a level maths it will be pretty simple to get an A* at gcse

If you have taken A level maths then there is absolutely no point re-sitting the GCSE.

the reason why i want to do is because i literally want the a*, im going into finance so i just want to make sure i have a clean sweep of a/a* in my analytical subjects

If you're sitting on an A atm, I see little to no reason to resit.

They won't care about your GCSEs. Even Cambridge. Just ace A-level lol.
