Lets go under the assumption i was to pick engineering to study as i love it:
THE FOLLOWING QUESTION IS BASED ON MY STATUS CURRENTLY IN Y11:

I'm currently at the start of y11 and do v.good in all 12 subjects...
The following may help you ans. the questions coming below:

My Draft Y11 personal statement:

Extra- Curricular - Non medicine Related…
5 EC's
Extra- Curricular’s-engineering Related…
2 EC's
Work experience…
WHERE THE HELL DO I GET WE?

------------------------------

I was thinking of doing the following:

1)Maths
2)Further maths
3)physics
4)chemistry
5)Computing

ARE THESE GOOD ENOUGH OR SUITABLE FOR ENGINEERING A TOP UNI.?

Thanks.

Do three or at most 4, not more. Universities offer on 3 A-levels, doing more is risking quality over quantity. Maths & FM plus Physics are good choices for Engineering. But, given all your posts elsewhere, they would not be so good for Medicine on their own, so you really need to decide before starting Y12 which path you want to go down.

Also, you don't need work experience for engineering.

And please don't create multiple threads in multiple forums asking the same or similar questions.

Thanks..

Also, sorry about the threads, they are different questions though...

Will i have an advantage over America MIT applicants if i choose to apply to MIT to do engineering, what do American do instead of GCSE or A-levels?

See my edit. And they aren't really different questions. They are all variations on similar things...

Read the entry requirements for MIT to see what they require and know the success rate for internationals is extremely low.

Here is a list of good A level Choices for Engineering:

Mathematics(With M1 at the least)
Physics
Further Maths
Product Design
Chemistry
Computer Science
Geography

A combination of 3 or 4 of those should be solid.

Since you don't know if you want to do Engineering or Medicine choose, Maths, Chemistry, Physics and Biology then drop either Physics or Biology depending on your future preferences.

Don't pick a career based on what your father says.

If you're interested in engineering then these people run summer schools and events for yr11 students: https://www.smallpeicetrust.org.uk/course-category/momentum/

(There are lots of other summer schools but they're mostly yr12 only)

Yes your choices are fine the rest depends on what grades you get to determine where you will study Engineering.

Indeed that would be ideal. Except they have stated aspirations for Cambridge and FM is pretty much required for engineering there.
Maths, Physics, Further maths. Add in one more (chemistry or computing perhaps) if you like.
I am doing Maths, Chemistry, Physics at A level. And idk whether to do S1 or M1 but S1 seems a bit easier but want to get into engineering of some sort. Do i need to do M1 as i also need to find work experience and a good uni involved around engineering(not sure what type yet)?

If you choose engineering- get rid of the computing and choose Further Maths, Maths, Physics and Chemistry. Though if you are 100% sure you don't want to go into chemical engineering, you can drop the chemistry and choose computing if you prefer that. Though engineering is very vast and places like Imperial college London require you to choose your preferred type of engineering whereas at Oxford or Cambridge you can do general engineering. I think if you want to go into engineering, I would look at the different types and subject requirements before making any decisions. That said I didn't know what I wanted to do so I did Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Physics and this left me open to some courses, however for competitive courses like at Cambridge I daren't attempt (Besides my grades) due to the fact I haven't done further maths.
Maths (with at least M1, if not M2), Chemistry and Physics. You shouldn't need anything else.

Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry is by far the best combo.
