UK residency question

My partner has applied for his first degree in August 2016, and applied to Student Finance England.
However, we are getting really frustrated with the information they require, phone calls every other day, and generally just want this sorted as it's been going on for 2 months now.

We tried P60's (copies, as we don't have the originals) with an official stamp from his workplace, but SFE rejected this. We sent in all the payslips that we have but still need to fill in most of april 2013 - august 2016.
His only option is now bank statements - will SFE accept those printed from Online Banking, or does it need to be printed in branch?

The frustrating thing is that he studied a Level 3 course between 2013-2-14, and had the 24+ loan from SFE - which he is currently paying off from his wages, but SFE still request to see proof where he lived from 2013!

We will accept bank statements but they must be printed and stamped by the bank.
