Maths makes your life a lot easier in hindsight
English is okay, because I'm not bad at it, but I'm not sure I'd enjoy it at degree-level or whatever.

I would like maths so much more if I was good at it... let's just say that.

I genuinely envy anyone who loves both Maths and English. I have a love/hate relationship with Maths but I'd still pick it anytime over English.

Hahaha they are definitely, we have many shortcuts. Just they hardcore forced memorization part that makes me kinda dislike maths. I would like maths more if I could explore it rather than just rote learn it.

Well, a calculator won't really help me with my Maths tasks. :frown:

To be decent at maths at school (not real maths) you have to put effort in at some point in school. Most people haven't.

Memorisation is bad indeed as it does not teach understanding on a fundamental level. The fundamentals are what make me like maths and discoverig more about certain topics, delving deeper and deeper.
