Medical Tests

Hi
For those that have taken on full time jobes how many medical checks did you have to undergo?

I don't necessarily mean physical checks but filling out forms and things...?

I want to apply for a job and they are even talking about getting my medical records, lol

Its a job at the council that involves walking around and lifting (but nothing hardcore)

But it asks quetsions on every type of illness possible - i think they are covering their own arses as they dont wnat long term sick people.

When I worked for the council a few years back I had to fill out loads of forms, then I had to go to a medical with a nurse just to confirm what Id put on paper really. She was a stuck up cow as well, really matron-ish :rolleyes:

I havent had to do any for other jobs that Ive applied for but Ive recently applied for jobs with the NHS and have some interviews lined up- and Ive been told that if I get the job I'll have to do the same thing, and undergo a vaccination programme :s-smilie:
