Should I apply for 2 courses at the same uni?

Should I apply for the same uni for different courses?
So I want to pick microbiology and biomedical engineering for Nottingham Trent - would you say that it's sensible?- I mean They are kind of similar ...

My personal statement is based on my commitment to bioengineering

I'm worried they would think I'm not as committed to it if I was to pick microbiology? :s-smilie:
nah I think it's fine. I think each application is only seen by the school you apply to within the university. I applied to medicine and Robotics engineering both at Queens Mary and got two separate confirmation emails and all that. If anything you could use it to show your commitment to the university.
