Nursing and male/female balance

Im wondering which branch are most student males found? Children, adult or mental health? Is it mostly females who start nursing anyway?

There are probably more physical males in adult branch (purely because there are more of them - adult nurses) BUT there seems to be a bigger ratio in mental health.

Vast majority are female
as per other answers ratio wise it's mental health that has the most men on the register, followed by either Adult or learning disbilities 9 but LD is numerically a very small branch)

as a student there were 5 males in my sub group of 30 ( one of aobut 7or 8 sub groups doing adult ) and this was fairly typical ratio
When my mum trained there was one boy and 10 girls in her group! The tutors said they did not know whether to be sorry for him or to envy him!
