I know its a bit of a strange career ambition, but I really want to become a Librarian.
I'm doing a degree in Computing starting september, how could I get started?

Libraries are controlled by your local council, go in and see if they have any vacancies. You usually don't need any formal qualifications.

Apparently you need a degree to be a librarian. And something from the... someone? Watchers Council? Heh, something thats in charge of all the libraries.
