I didn't use a text-book either, I memorized answers to questions from the AQA papers on their website and got 242/300 = (just about) A for AS. Sorry I ain't got no notes.
CPT2 u could do that for but i got 100% in that module but with CPT1 i ended up with a D. CPT1 has got programming concepts etc and i really need notes help with people who did Pascal
Oh crap, wait do you like have to learn a language this year? For CPT1 sometimes you just have to use logic, but I picked that up from looking at past papers. If youre learning pascal, then i'd get a book on it. I take it ur retaking AS this jan?
If your going to revise from past papers then only go a couple of years back as tings change so quickly in computing! If I could get my last years notes I would give you them but sadly I can't
Here are a few links for you, however I'd suggest you get hold of either Heathcote AS Computing, or Bradley AS Computing.
BTW you don't have to specifically know Pascal - the programming questions are more generalized than that since they assume students from different centres will have exposure to different languages.
Note that the CPT1 papers in the last couple of years have become much more technical and Computer Science based - you need to know algorithms well, trace tables, dry runs and data storage formats as well as the basic programming stuff.
