Which uni to choose?

Hi all,

I am in the fortunate position to have received 2 conditional offers to do my PGCE (Primary). The problem I now have is to work out who to say yes to! Both Unis have pros and cons, which I will list below:

UNI A:
+ PGCE with Modern Languages Specialism
+ Easy enough commute by public transport
+ I really liked the tutors I met at interview
- they want 2 GCSE equivalency taken (Maths and English, which would cost close to £1k)

UNI B:
+ Fab facilities
+ Loved the tutors I met at interview
+ only 1 GCSE equivalency required (Maths) as they accept my French baccalaureat in English as equivalent to English GCSE
- "Just" PGCE - no MFL specialism (which I think could set me apart)
- we drove on Sat for interview, so I'm unsure as to how easy the commute will be by public transport
What would you choose?

Just to add, I am a native French speaker and have studied Spanish to degree level so my level is pretty high, which is why the MFL component attracted me.
I would personally choose B...you can't beat great facilities. Plus they're willing to accept your Baccalaureate.

If you are fluent in French and have a Spanish degree that would set you apart regardless, you shouldn't need to do the MFL Specialism.
Just make sure that it's easy to get to and not a pain...unless you stay in halls on campus?

Thanks for the reply - there has been a development in that uni A now only requires me to take a GCSE English equivalent, no Maths. So that, combined with easy commute and MFL means that I have today accepted their offer
