Political economy at KCL PS?

I very much like the political economy course at King's College, and wish to apply to it. My other four choices are straight Politics... Can I write a good politics PS that won't bar me from political economy? How much do I need to write about economics?
I've currently got a Paragraph on how my fave aspect of politics is international political economy, and I've got a short part about A level economics. Do I need more, considering the course is mainly politics based?
Thanks.

economics and politics are connected. economics looks very much at policy, so you could relate that quite easily. fiscal policy is very much at the heart of macro-economic perfomance; so could add a few lines about the importance of understanding economics as a baseline for making conscience/objective political decisions and understanding the wider implications, whilst having an empircal way of assessing solutions.
