old syllabus AS & A level chemistry and physics books

I do not need my A level physics and chemistry books anymore but I cannot sell them as they represent the old syllabus and aren't really worth anything anymore.
I'd be happy to give them for free to anyone who's ready to pay for postage.
I feel bad about throwing books out so I really don't know what to do with them if nobody needs them.

Any ideas?
