    UKCAT cut-off points in dentistry.
I was wondering if there was any cut-off points for UKCAT in dentistry?
Or any universities that are pretty harsh / easy going when it comes to UKCAT?
I was particularly thinking about...Glasgow, KCL, Liverpool, QM, Sheffield?

My UKCAT score wasn't too great.

    But work experience wise:
    One month at GDP.
Weekly volunteer at the British Dental Association museum.
Maxillo-facial surgeon shadowing at St. Barts.
    Orthodontist placement.
    Volunteer at Primary school.
I have a few extra-curricular activities up my sleeve.
& I have a paid job at a dental lab.
I'm confident about my personal statement.

...but my UKCAT score is scaring me.

Last year Glasgow didnt seem to take it into much consideration. I know lots of people who gt in that didnt do brilliantly in it.

The placement at the museum was a mission.

And...if you really want a placement in an orthodontist, youre going to have to look beyond Ilford, noone takes you on round there.
My placement is about one and a half hours away from my house. I go on Monday, and its only for 3 days.

OoOh, I called Glasgow about looking at AS grades, and they said that they wouldnt give interviews if you don't have atleast BBB at AS.

They're a bit fussy with that.

Its a very popular uni so its a good way of cutting their numbers. If you look at the recent times uni ratings glasgow has the highest entry requirements/process.

S'ppose thats why they can use UKCAT less in the selection process.
But, kinda doesnt give you a second chace to have a go to get in, for people like moi, I got a C at AS.

Erm, I'm doing the C at A2. So I'll have to pull it up.

But, if your going to leave it at a c, ill deff just leave it as pending and resit a module to get a B.
