No, it is not too late. In my first year (before tuition fee loans), the university didn't invoice for fees until late in November anyway.

It's not too late, but if you leave it after November ut can cause problems. The universities confirm the fee amounts to SLC in November and SLC return a list of what they are paying. You can still take the loan but if it's after November, check to make sure it's gone through properly (i.e. login on SFD and check that loan is requested).

Yeah I meant that as long as it's sorted by November it should be OK.

Don't know if this makes any difference but I know when I registered at uni last year I had to take my loan paperwork, or evidence of how I intended to pay, with me in order to register so it might be worth contacting your uni to let them know if you make a late application but are still waiting for the paperwork to come through. I suppose it depends on how earlier you start uni and how busy your LEA is. :smile:
