Amazon.co.uk refunds

OK so i order a book from amazon.co.uk, well it was a book from another seller selling their product on the website. I paid for the item by debit card, and after they withdrew the money they told me that the item is not in stock and my money has been refunded to amazon. Then I got an email from amazon telling me that the money has been refunded and i should see the amount as 'credit' in my next credit card statement...

the thing is I used debit card, how does this affect it?

Oh, and I checked my account online and my balance hasn't increased...I'm lost, please help!

you will get your money back as you paid it

Amazon probably used the term credit card as a generic term for both credit and debit cards

give it a couple of days - u never get it back as fast u give it. and certainly wont show up the same day in my experience.
