Christmas jobs-advice needed!

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone can give me some advice on my particular predicament!

I really want a christmas job, don't care where I work or what I do really as long as can work. My problem is that I can't work from the 23-29th december because I have to go away with my parents. They are really getting on my back about working but I'm worried that I won't be able to get a job because other people are going to be able to work that week and I won't so I'd assume they'll get the job over me.

So I was just wondering if anybody had any advice about somewhere I could work where this wouldn't be such a problem or a way to get around it.
