I cannot believe that India just won that.
Such a good innings from Uthappa.

Well played uthappa.

I feel blessed to have watched such a game. Good agressive cricket all round.

3-3 going into lords, after a good quality series, probably the last thing anyone expected

James '4 ball' Anderson lets us down again

Well played India the difference in the two sides was the start, 90/4 compared to 150/0 after 20 overs.

Wright to open please, and hopefully Flintoff is fit for once

But at least Anderson wasn't as bad as Yuvraj
India would have been home long before if it hadn't been for that last over of the English innings.

That was some seriously poor cricket, England's fielding cracked under pressure, but on the same token the running between the wickets was crap, as were some of the field placements. Broad bowled outstandingly, Anderson was fractionally out everytime and India's airey, fairy swings kept getting edges that went fine for 4. Both teams deserved to lose really, shame it wasn't a tie.

The cricket was entertaining, perhaps not the most efficient (the latter half of both innings frankly) but a good match all the same.
I can't wait for the finale at Lords. Well played to England though.

Tendulkar MOTM.

394 from 6 innings. Where are all the Tendulkar doubters now?

- Tendulkar was amazing, he won't be back in England for another series but he definitely left his last one with a bang! Just not with a 100, lol.
But perhaps Owais should have got MOTM...
I know Sachin's innings was great and his shot selection good etc. etc. but I'm still not sure.

Well I dont think you can compare the two, Anderson is our most experienced bowler and should be doing better than that. Hes just so frustratingly inconsistent. I think his main problem is that hes not a spearhead, once Flintoff is out and he is expected to lead the line then he goes missing.

Yuvraj is a part timer and should have never been death bowling, poor captaincy by Dravid. If he had been on the ball then India would be 5-1 in this series instead of scraping 3-3 with one to play.

Grrr, I really hate how this ODI series has been spread over 3 weeks. Its dragging on a bit.

No Sachin fully deserved it. He set the game up with Ganguly until the others decided to give it away as per the usual Indian cricket script. Robin certainly rescued us (with a bit of luck, mind, and some poor English fielding) but Tendulkar was in a class of his own really. I can't think of one poor shot or play and miss until he got out.

(He really should have retired hurt and come back later though)

No, yeah, I realise it wasn't a great comparison, but the point I was trying to make was that calling Anderson "4ball Anderson" wasn't exactly fair because it wasn't like he bowled poorly. He bowled well and unfortunately the luck was with the Indians and there was some poor fielding from the English.

Definitely, Sachin should not have carried on...nevertheless he had a good innings.
I just thought that at 83-4 and losing so many wickets so early, Owais did a really good job, as well as picking up a wicket.
