The Halo Effect is a feature of interpersonal attraction, which dictates that fault and guilt is less likely to be attributed to physically attractive people. An example was the result that attractive females were less likely to be considered guilty of violent crimes such as murder. Conversely; they were more likely to be convicted of decietful crimes like fraud.
