If you want the 'official' nus card now you have to pay £10 for it...

Some places in uxbridge (like the Odeon, usually) will give you discounts with just your student card it but all of the official partners like HMV, Amazon etc need you to get it before they give you discounts (but they are pretty good discounts)

You can buy it online at www.nusextra.co.uk (you will need a passport style pic of yourself on your computer or a webcam).

Also for Brunel when you are looking for the right uni it's listed under U for 'Union of Brunel Students' not B for Brunel as you might expect :confused:

I ordered mine and it said that they will deliver to my stduent union :|
LloydsTSB are meant to be giving me a free NUS Extra card - it's been nearly 3 weeks since I opened a student account, where is it?!

One more thing, when filling in the online application, the deliever address for the card is:

Main,
Cleveland Road,
Uxbridge,
Middlesex,
UB8 3PH

I just accept that and the main reception will tell me when they receive it?
