hi id like to add that i applied last year to do english lit. with predicted AAA and was rejected without interview by York, KCL, Warwick, UCL, Exeter & Durham. i think my ps wasnt up to the job plus it was deferred yet it does show that people with the grade get rejected.


:eek: Goodness. Just goes to show how monstrously competitive English is. Are you reapplying?

yep im reapplying this year for english lit and history of art - which is something with lower grade boundaries and suits me far more. should have more luck this time!
Christ. Scary stuff. I'm going to be rejected from everywhere. I know it.

Sheffield, although offer might be a bit high, or Leicester, which is very decent and will be a bit lower.
