On a tangent, if anyone's interested, I've got some random songs/ideas/etc on a soundclick thingy now...

There's a few metally things recorded with some dangerously dodgy gear, so the sound's not fantastic. Also, there's a gyppo Satch cover and an acoustic cover of Times Like These with some multi-tracked harmonies and WAY too much echo...

'Sunshine' is pretty cool for guitar work, I think... I improvised the solo and it came out okay!! Loads of mistakes though...

If you listen to anything though, use the hi-fi version!! Lo-fi really does sound like crap

Very nice indeed mate, the Satch cover isn't too gyppo at all!

If that is you singing on Times Like These I'll be so green with envy you'd mistake me for a cabbage. That's right.

Thanks a lot, guys! Unfortunately, no, that isn't my voice on TLT, it's the singer in my band. The recording's me and him - we ran one guitar track, one bass, and about three vocal!!

If anyone wants to hear any more of our acoustic shizzle, I've just put our acoustic cover of End of Heartache on there - bear with it - the intro's not all that special

I also put a cover of Zero 7's 'Destiny' that I did with a girl on acoustic...

Did you know that's what I use or did you get it from the laptop screen? I'd be impressed if it was the latter

Its true. John Petrucci can only move when he is switching the foot pedal.

As much as I love James LaBrie's voice, he sounds awful in that clip. Bruce Dickinson for the win.

Right, because you kids appreciate well written tunes, I introduce you to Saruman (Christopher Lee) SINGING with Rhapsody (Of Fire.)

Heh Petrucci stands like he has stopped mid-mince...

Have you watched their Cemetery Gates "with special guests"? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hiH_y...elated&search= Mustaine completely mashes up the solo.

An impressive commanding voice that Christopher Lee has, though he doesn't quite seem to know what to do with his hands.

I can't swear on this forum,
So type it in I shan't,
But what I wished to convey
Is that Dave Mustaine is a ****

Yes, the implied word began with a 'c'.

I really, really hate Mr Mustaine. He is so far up his own arse it's not even funny.

Hey guys . I was feeling bluesy, and so something possessed me to record Tomorrow Morning by Jack Johnson . It's not amazing or done with much thought to being a piece to wow the crowd (not with some of the members in THIS Soc lol) but it's a fun piece.

    Enjoy!
