I have an idea but my data is still very bah.

I'm (hopfully!) doing a comparising between murders in 2 books, old Literature and modern.

But as much as I read I dont read mystry/thriller and so I can not find a books =/

Ideas for books to look at?

[the idea did become to comparing murder in fairy-tale books and non-fairy tales]
[or comparing 2 love stories or 2 tragedies, but both draw to a blank when I try to find a modern one]
