We have fixed all "Critical" bugs that we are aware of. But we have a number of other important items to be sorted out. We will add to this list and remove things once they are done.
Please keep feedback as constructive as possible

**UPDATE - 29th Sept**

We are making good progress with the key priorities, they were:

- Tone down the brightness of the white background, make the borders around things (posts) more visible, reduce surplus white space

We have made a step towards this by returning to verdana font in a slightly softer colour. The link text has also now changed to a less bright blue. We will be making other changes to make the white background less bright in the next few days.

- Make a better distinction between posts and signatures

Done - We have created a bit more space between posts and sigs and have made the bar dividing the two stronger

- Ensure threads have bold titles only when they contain unread posts

- The option to make All Forums your default homepage

Done - needs 1 small problem fixed with it still but it works well

- Subscribed threads in My Home
If a thread is more than 1 page it needs a page selector after the thread title e.g '( 1 2 3 4 5 ... Last Page)' we need a green downward pointing arrow icon before the thread title that links you to the first UNREAD post

- Get the search indexing properly

- Ability to unsubscribe to My Forums. Add custom links to My Forums. Clarify on the page when you subscribe to a forum what it does.

- Get the little green "New Posts" arrow showing if there are any unread posts in and thread and align it the left of the thread title instead of the right, so it's in the same position regardless of how long the thread title is.

We will be focussing on getting these things done and will begin work on them straight away. The next set of priorities will be worked on after that.

In Opera, the main forums page spans a long distance horizontally in order to fit all of the sub categories in. I'm not sure if this is just in Opera or whether it is across all browsers. Also the page http://thestudentroom.co.uk/wiki/TSR_Freshers'_Pack returns a database error.

The grey borders round posts etc. are awfully pale, they don't add much separation...could the colour of these be changed to slightly darker... only slightly mind...

Hmm it's okey in Internet Explorer, but I've got it open in Opera as well, and yeah the Universities sub-fora for instance just go in one straight line rather than stack under each other in rows; so theres some compatability issues identified there.

BTW. For any Opera users who find it annoying with the straight line issue, you can use Fit to Width option by clicking on the pair of glasses to the right of the address bar. This does make things display wrong, such as the menu at the top, but at least you can find the subforum you want!

Also, is there a way to change the background like before? As many have said, this background is a bit bright

It's blinding. Some suggestions:

-Put in titles for the expands in UserCP
-Bring back the thing that tells you your total number of rep points

I'm sure I'll think of more. There's honestly no way I can get used to this - it makes the UCAS forums look appealing I'm sure it wasn't this bad on the dev server (as Juno said)...

One line is large and then the next line is small. Similar to th vBookie page.
