Yeah, it shoudl be, although I guess that depends on the Uni. It applies to my uni (swansea) if you get over 60% or so on the end of first year exam.

I believe you need to be getting a 2:1 average by the 2nd year in order to do so (this is set by all the accreditation bodies as opposed to the Unis). I believe you'll have to meet with someone in your department and request to be moved in most cases...or you'll be given the option of being moved.

It all depends on the uni. Chat with them, read their prospectus or send them an email to find out if it can be done and what is the criteria.

At my uni you should average atleast 2.1 by end of 2nd year to remain on MEng or to transfer from BEng to the MEng. I think thats the case with almost all if not all engineering courses.
