Someone mentioned that if you enroll onto a BEng course and do well at the first year, then the uni will transfer you into MEng course? is this true , please shed some light.
I believe you need to be getting a 2:1 average by the 2nd year in order to do so (this is set by all the accreditation bodies as opposed to the Unis). I believe you'll have to meet with someone in your department and request to be moved in most cases...or you'll be given the option of being moved.
At my uni you should average atleast 2.1 by end of 2nd year to remain on MEng or to transfer from BEng to the MEng. I think thats the case with almost all if not all engineering courses.
