Downloaded a few songs but my ears couldnt take that much(Original post by kieshaxxx)
Hehe say hi to Pete from me
.... if he's there...
Oh yeah and I hope you have been listening to some of The Libs in preperation as well
but yeah some of the stuff i downloaded is pretty good, the new song is ****e though. And I doubt Pete will be there -
not sure about him, i doubt i'll watch him but I think he has enough fans there, i dont think he will be bottled. The Rasmus are the most likely because they are seen as too pop/commercial(a bit like Good Charlotte last year)(Original post by RxB)
Umm...50 Cent? Apparently, though, he's the grumpiest person ever if he gets bottled, and if he gets bottled at Leeds he might refuse to even play Reading... -
I've got my weekend ticket but have 2 spare day tickets if anyone's interested?

Nope, i just read the bands the people in this thread wanted to see, i would look into it, but i honestly can't be arsed, i'll take your word for it. V is on channel 4 as well, how good is that!
thought jamie cullum was good
Strokes = good
muse = best live band ever!
jamelia = ****e
badly drawn boy - ****e
all of the festivals are so average this year -
Jamie Cullum's version of Radiohead's 'High and Dry' was ace (and it helps that he's pretty cute too!). Agree about Badly Drawn Boy, I watched the first 3 songs before me and my friend decided he was crap (and a bit of a knob too) so we went to the bar instead!(Original post by serious narb)

The Channel 4 coverage of V was absolutely ****. Ive already emailed and complained at them. There were only 2 bands I would have watched if I had gone (hence not paying £100 for a ticket...) they are Muse and The Pixies. Now they did show a bit of muse on sat night (2songs
) but absolutely no sigh or even mention of the pixies on sunday! and they were co-headlining! It was the last date in the Uk of their 96 date world reunion tour! Why wouldnt they show it? its insane.

Anyway, all the major ticketing companies have issued weather warnings for Reading ticket holders in the last few hours and Mean Fiddler have also just updated the official site at http://www.readingfestival.com.
ITS GON' RAIN!
