The Trains Society.
Hey, guys.

Following immense interest in trains around the forum recently, (Crisps, dk9, Expression, FadeToBlackout, etc etc) I thought we needed a proper place where train fans can talk about trains without getting in the way of "normal people."
So here it is.
I'm applying for this to become a real soc now...
And yeah, enjoy. Crisps should be becoming a leader too, if this gets off the ground.
Also, I know pretty much nothing about trains. I just like being involved in the geekery of it all.
I'm no longer a member of this society! Woo. I've finally been able to leave.

This is just... so cool!

For extra coolness, you should call it the "Trainz" Society.Last edited by Metrobeans; 05-10-2007 at 15:48. -
Re: The Trains Society.I think it's towards the North - West of Central London, by Paddington where there are a few stations on the outside.(Original post by Crisps)
That's true.
*tries to work out which Tube station the Tube pic is from*
It must be on the Met line cos it says so on the train ;yes; -
Re: The Trains Society.
Hello everyone,
I came on because I have a train-related query, and there's already a thread on trains here that's going steady! :-)
I have to travel tomorrow morning. Can I use my Student Railcard on a Saturday at half 8 in the morning? I think there are some restrictions on weekdays regarding times. I've checked the young persons railcard website and it doesn't say anything about weekend restrictions on there, so I'm hoping I'll be okay. Does anyone know anything about this?
Thanks in advance!
