Would it help?

During The exam period of my GCSE's i was extremely ill and during y11 I was in a crash and was hospitalized or quite a while and I was just wondering if this would actually help me when applying for example to LSE for straight econ if i mention this. I was just wondering if they take things like this into consideration when picking students?

Any help would be useful.

yeah! It would be classed as extenuating circumstances hence special consideration ought to be given, esure your referee says something about it!
