Am I right in thinking that you can only apply through UCAS extra if you got no offers from your 5 choices?

You can also decline any offers that you do receive. Read the wiki for more details

Isn't declining all your offers the same thing as not holding any? :p:

Read the link!

It's one at a time. So if you get rejected or change your mind, you can apply to one more. Then, if you get rejected/change your mind, you can pick another one etc.

And Clearing isn't strictly one either. You can only apply officially to one, but you can contact as many as you like and obtain unofficial offers

It starts in March and ends just before clearing i think :s-smilie:
