hi, i want to do maths and economics at university (hopefully lse). im getting close to submitting my applications but i was wondering whether i have to add my additional mths grade at gcse. i got a U so i dont really want to add it because it mite put unis off. do i actually have to? and will it make much of a difference?

U's don't appear on certificates, and they're technically not classed as a grade, so i wouldn't have thought so.

to be honest, ucas asking for gcse grades so whatever you got just put it down, before you send it off your teachers are gonna check it for you so don't worry and its usually your alevel grades e.g if you got a d in maths gcse then got an a at maths alevel im pretty sure they are gonna take you.
