Some places prefer you to have Biology, but don't make it compulsory. Many (including Manchester) don't care about subjects. You'll be fine with maths and physics. Usually they ask for BCC.
I think it depends on the uni. Some places prefer you to have Biology, or a social based A level. But its not always about the subjects, more that you have proven you are capable of working to a specific academic level.
If you have some uni's in mind, maybe take a look at their entry requirements, although most are pretty standard, it may give you a better idea of whether what you have is going to be enough.
