Emailing

If a company asks you to email about jobs, what kind of thing are you supposed to write? I presume they'd expect a CV, but I have no idea what to write for the actual email. Any help would be appreciated.

Write it as a kind of cover letter..

Dear Sir/Madam,

My name is ____ and I'm interested in a 'position' at your company...

I'm a ____'personal qualities kind of stuff'____

I have attached my CV and thank you in advance for taking the time to consider my application.

Yours Faithfully

Yeah like the person above posted just include a little introduction to who you are, where you seen the job, what you are applying for and a bit about your qualities and experience. Just to encourage them to have a look at your CV but don't write too much in the email.
