Nikolai Miaskovsky - Cello Sonate No.2 in A minor. I adore it.

Not strictly instrumental. Or strictly classical.

Also not strictly instrumental or classical.

Mmmmhmmmm, I just love Chesnokov. Might have posted this before, but it's lovely enough to do again.

    Artist: Andy Mckee
    Song: Drifting
Description: Awesome composition, and for those trying their hands at percussion guitar/finger tapping style (whatever you want to call it) this is a good song to learn.

    Also

    Artist: Mike Dawes
Song: Somebody that I used to know (Instrumental)
Description: Yes, the song has been done in every way to sunday and I know a lot of you are probably sick of hearing it. But give this one listen and see what you think.

Lang Lang is an absolute joy to watch, he just oozes passion. When I listen to/watch him play it reminds me why I got into music in the first place :')

Favourite piece of all time. I know it's kind of cliched but I guess I have a licence to love it since I'm doing the solo with my Youth Orchestra next term? :P It's my last concert with said orchestra, I'm going to miss it so much when I go to uni
