Ucas choices

I need a couple of questions to be answered.
1) Do you HAVE to have a personal statement?
2) If i get rejected from a University, i go into clearing....what do i get to choose from? Like what exactly is clearing and what does it offer me
You won't get anywhere without a PS, though I suppose you can submit your application without one in (you'd just get rejected from everywhere).

One of the most dreaded words regarding universities. :frown:
Oh dear. You do not have to write a personal statement. You do not have to apply to university at all, though, which is a cheaper way of not getting there. You would be a record breaker if you got an offer without a personal statement.

Clearing has all the courses that universities were not able to fill during the year, for whatever reason (e.g. not popular, not enough good applicants). It is very pot luck as to what is available, and you'll still need a personal statement.
Heres a crazy idea.. why not write a personal statement !!!!
